Origins : Hijackers are a Dance Duo consisting of Sean Hayden & Richie Burke from Ireland. Cutting their teeth on the Dj Scene over 10 Years ago, they got together in 2010 to Produce & Remix Music. With an Early Love for Hip Hop & Dance Music the Boys are majorly influenced by acts such as The Prodigy, Cypress Hill, Faithless, The Chemical Brothers & Daft Punk to name just a few.

Scot Project is a regarded to as a legend in the dance scene. The
genius behind some of the most epic tunes in the 90’s and early 00’s.
Scot Project single handed, started the movement for the harder / edgier side of electronic music.

It all started  in 1986, fronting a youth club in Frankfurt, and from
there took up residency in many clubs around a city well associated with the dawn of EDM. His first release was in 1994 ‘X’, followed by the massive Underground hit  ‘U’ in 1995 on Positiva Records.

His international breakthrough came in 2001 with his well known
ultimate Anthem ‘O-(overdrive)’ that was a game changer for the genre of Trance music. 
A second home run came with  ‘L–(Want your Love)’. knocking off Eric Prydz ‘Call on Me’ at the No.1 spot in the European vinyl charts.

This took Scot Project on a journey around the globe for over a decade, performing at every major night club and festival on the planet, and regular appearances at landmarks shows like DanceValley, Sensation Black, Defqon, Trance Energy, Tomorrowland , Global Gathering, Love Parade, Street Parade and many more.

His discography of over 250 productions and remixes includes massive tracks such as ‘G – Ghost’, ‘T – Techem’ ‘FM –Feeling Me’ and His Album ‘A1’. Under his other aliases ‘Arome’, ‘Tocs’ and his latest project ‘Supermusique!’, he has releases chart topping remixes and tracks such as ‘Arome – Hands Up’,  ‘TOCS 2’ or ‘Do You Want me’ and ‘Stop this Feeling’

In 2010, Scot Project received a genre Beatport Artist Award, and has had the honour of being supported by many legends in the EDM world such as Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold Judge Jules, ,Yoji Biomehanika, and  many more.

In the past year, “twelve X” (together with A.s.y.s) , the NO. 1 chart success “W(whooo!)” EP and “P(paradise)  , showed a new direction for the old master. Also the “C” EP was the top track on Simon Patterson’s “Night Vision” imprint on Spinnin in 2012., the last year was definitely the return for the man who was there at the start of it all.

2013 will see Scot Project continue his venture into a territory he has been building towards for the past several years. Long gone the days of Hard Trance, Scot’s sound is now comprised of a diverse fusion between Progressive, Electro, and trance. A sound that can only be dubbed as Electronica.

As EDM evolves on its exponential path, new artists are introduced and make their climb to the top every single day. Some artists go the way of history, and yet, a few from the past continue to re-build, re-fresh and re-connect with the electronic generation. Scot Project is one of those.

Ultrabeat are an English electronic music production group based in Liverpool, who primarily produce dance and house music and are most famous for their 2003 hit, "Pretty Green Eyes".
Their output is generally classed under the genre known as commercial dance. Their earlier efforts are recognised as commercial UK vocal trance productions. Ultrabeat release their work through the All Around The World record label. The group comprises Mike Di Scala, Chris Henry and Ian Redman.
It is notable that their recordings have been constantly supported by Scouse House and Radio City 96.7 DJ, Lee Butler, who helped launch them into stardom. He aired their cover version of "I'm Not in Love" within a few hours of its recording. The band's debut album, Ultrabeat - The Album, was released on 10 September 2007, and included all of their previously released singles. The collection reached #8 in the UK Albums Chart. Their newest single is a collaboration with happy hardcore producer/singer Darren Styles named "Discolights". It was released on the 23 June 2008 on the AATW label.
All Around The World first met with Di Scala through Rezonance Q and their single, "Someday", which went to #29 in the UK Singles Chart in early 2003. In Di Scala's studio he and All Around The World were discussing "Someday", when he played them Ultrabeat's demo of "Pretty Green Eyes", a cover of the 'Force and Styles' happy hardcore song from 1997. It was then that Ultrabeat were signed by the label.
"Pretty Green Eyes" went on to be a #2 hit in August 2003. It was playlisted on most radio stations including BBC Radio 1, and was performed live on Top of The Pops. The following single was "Feelin' Fine" which charted at #12 in the UK Christmas chart of 2003. Their next release was "Better Than Life", which was issued the following year and reached #23 in the chart.
In September 2007 the band released their album, Ultrabeat - The Album which achieved #8 in the UK Albums Chart. At that time band undertook a national tour of the UK with Cascada (who are also on the AATW label) which included a gig in their hometown of Liverpool. Their seventh single, "I Wanna Touch You", was released on 4 February 2008. A new single "Discolights" was released in June 2008. In an interview about the upcoming HTID compilation album, Di Scala mentioned work on the new album. An original release date of 12 January 2009 was set for the album, but despite this, it has been leaked onto the internet on various file sharing platforms.

They say that you haven’t achieved iconic status as a DJ until you have established yourself in Ibiza, and Jules’ presence in there is legendary. His weekly night, ‘Judgement Sundays’, every Sunday @ Eden Discoteca is one of the island’s busiest and most famous. In 2009, Judgement Sundays celebrated ten years at the top of its game - no mean feat for club night in Ibiza. The subsequent years have cemented “Judgement’s” reputation as a must-see event for the 16 weeks of each summer season.  Jules plays at each event alongside the true aristocracy of dance, including the likes of (in 2011) Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Eddie Halliwell and Cosmic Gate.
Jules has been busy in the studio in 2011/12 with a stack of top-notch tracks awaiting release, which will be rocking dancefloors worldwide in the coming months.

In the early days, Jules’ ear for a good track was put to good use as A&R for Manifesto Records in the ‘90s, where he sniffed out some of the biggest ever dance hits, including Josh Wink’s ‘Higher State of Consciousness’. He went on to collaborate with fellow producer Paul Masterson under the guise Hi-Gate. The project resulted in three Top 20 hits in the UK charts and a well received album.  Since then he has released over 100 remixes and singles.

In October 2006 a personal ambition was realised as Jules released his debut solo album, Proven Worldwide, in both the UK and US.  Eagle-eared listeners may have heard the man himself contribute vocals on a few tracks. In 2009, Jules released his second artist album, Bring The Noise on Maelstrom Records which featured a selection of ‘tried and tested’ dancefloor bombs.  The third album is currently under production.

Jules has mixed countless DJ mix compilations for Ministry Of Sound, Universal and Warner Bros, including the legendary MoS Annuals and the Clubbers’ Guide and Trance Nation. Altogether Jules has racked up well over three million compilation sales, with many releases reaching Platinum, Gold and Silver status.

Jules first took to the decks in 1987, launching a career that has notched up millions of miles, a legacy of spins of the decks and countless gigs in far-flung destinations, as well as the odd dirty warehouse thrown in for good measure! Jules’ DJ sets are the epitome of what DJing is about - passion and crowd-connection, amazing tunes and a set of hands capable of the most nimble of mixing. 

With a list of awards that would make the British Olympic team blush, Jules has earned his place amongst the DJ aristocracy with such accolades as - Best DJ (Muzik Awards), No.1 DJ (Mixmag readers’ poll), Best International DJ (Dancestar Awards), and Best Radio DJ at the Smirnoff Dancestars.  Jules also attained the lofty height of no 3 in Dj Mags legendary top 100 Dj’s poll in 2000 and has been a constant presence in the upper levels of the poll ever since.

Awards aside, Judge Jules remains one of the most popular, in-demand and influential figures in dance music, playing some of the most sought-after gigs. As a pioneer of the club scene Jules has and continues to grace the decks at many of the worlds biggest and best dance events.  From Gatecrasher and Ministry of Sound to Global Gathering and Creamfields in the UK, Jules is always a firm favourite, as he is at the top clubs and events around the world…. 

They say that you haven’t achieved iconic status as a DJ until you have established yourself in Ibiza, and Jules’ presence in there is legendary. His weekly night, ‘Judgement Sundays’, every Sunday @ Eden Discoteca is one of the island’s busiest and most famous. In 2009, Judgement Sundays celebrated ten years at the top of its game - no mean feat for club night in Ibiza. The subsequent years have cemented “Judgement’s” reputation as a must-see event for the 16 weeks of each summer season.  Jules plays at each event alongside the true aristocracy of dance, including the likes of (in 2011) Ferry Corsten, Sander Van Doorn, Eddie Halliwell and Cosmic Gate. 
Jules has been busy in the studio in 2011/12 with a stack of top-notch tracks awaiting release, which will be rocking dancefloors worldwide in the coming months. 

In the early days, Jules’ ear for a good track was put to good use as A&R for Manifesto Records in the ‘90s, where he sniffed out some of the biggest ever dance hits, including Josh Wink’s ‘Higher State of Consciousness’. He went on to collaborate with fellow producer Paul Masterson under the guise Hi-Gate. The project resulted in three Top 20 hits in the UK charts and a well received album.  Since then he has released over 100 remixes and singles.

In October 2006 a personal ambition was realised as Jules released his debut solo album, Proven Worldwide, in both the UK and US.  Eagle-eared listeners may have heard the man himself contribute vocals on a few tracks. In 2009, Jules released his second artist album, Bring The Noise on Maelstrom Records which featured a selection of ‘tried and tested’ dancefloor bombs.  The third album is currently under production.

Jules has mixed countless DJ mix compilations for Ministry Of Sound, Universal and Warner Bros, including the legendary MoS Annuals and the Clubbers’ Guide and Trance Nation. Altogether Jules has racked up well over three million compilation sales, with many releases reaching Platinum, Gold and Silver status.

Chasers Nightclub is delighted to announce that on Saturday January 26th we will be hosting a charity night in aid of Pieta House in Lucan. This is a charity that does such important work around suicide and self-harm prevention, an issue that has affected the local area too much over the past few years.

On the night it will be €10 Entry all night with proceeds going to Pieta House, Preventing Suicide and Self Harm.
