Her glamorous style and bubbly personality have also helped her to achieve success as a confident and highly-rated presenter - with her role as a tutor teaching a classically trained cellist how to DJ on the Channel4 programme "Faking It" helping the series to receive a prestigious BAFTA Award.

Anne has also presented for the BBC, MTV Europe, MTV Dance, Rapture and Sky One, Anne held her own specialist dance show on Ministry Of Sound Radio for 3 years and was the stand in for Dave Pearce on his massive Radio 1 Sunday night Dance Anthems show with over 2 million listeners.

Following the success of his previous album this has seen him clock up over 400,000 album sales in the last 12 months.

During the summer Dave presented the Top 100 Dance Anthems on MTV and TMF as well as continuing with his popular BBC 6 Music radio show Dance Anthems on Sunday nights at 8pm.Moby, DJ Tiesto, and Calvin Harris are just some of the names who have appeared on the show. He has also presented a series on BBC Radio 2 as part of the Disco Season.

This year has also been Dave’s busiest in terms of international dates with events from Bangkok through to European summer gigs in Mallorca, Zante, Corfu, Rhodes, Kos, Gran Canaria and Cyprus. He has played some of the largest UK festivals including the Godskitchen arena at Escape into the Park in Wales and the Gatecrasher Outdoor Stage at Coloursfest in Glasgow. He also had his own Trance Anthems arena at Planet Love (Northern Ireland’s biggest dance event).

Dave has had a prolific career in the media and music industry. He has been a pioneer and innovator in both music and broadcasting, presented radio shows on both sides of the Atlantic, hosted TV shows, written for national newspapers, compiled an award winning movie soundtrack, achieved sales of over 1m compilation albums in the UK, created one of the UK’s most successful dance labels (NuLife), and hosted one of Ibiza’s most popular club nights.

So, how did he start out?

Dave started DJing on a popular south London pirate radio station while still at school. By 16 he was running his own station. By 17 he was DJing in Bombay, India, to an international jetset Bollywood crowd.

Dave joined BBC Radio London and created and presented the BBC’s first hip hop show and a weekly dance show. His pioneering work in hip hop led him to, amongst other things, be featured on Public Enemy’s critically acclaimed album ‘It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back’.

He then hosted a nightly dance show on GLR, hooked up with pirate radio station KISS FM, and joined the campaign for a dance station in London. KISS FM then became the first legal dance station in the UK and Dave hosted a daily drivetime show. He went on to host the Breakfast Show (The Dangerous Breakfast) and gained the attention of BBC Radio 1.

He then joined BBC Radio 1, initially hosting the Early Breakfast Show, and landing all Chris Evan’s Breakfast Show stand-ins. He went on to host a series of different shows on BBC Radio 1 including the Recovery Session (The Breakfast Show for Ravers), The Weekend Breakfast Show, Drivetime, Late Drive, and Dance Anthems, which ran for 11 years.

Eddie Halliwell

‘Without a shadow of a doubt Eddie Halliwell is a legend, a hero and a massively popular DJ worshipped by many’ DJ Mag ‘Is Halliwell the most exciting DJ on the planet right now? Maybe!’ Tillate Magazine Eddie is a DJ legend to rank among the best of them, so make some noise for clubland’s answer to Rocky.’ - Mixmag
‘There are people who play records and there are DJ’s who blow minds, Eddie Halliwell is the latter…who makes every set, no matter how small the club or how big the festival, feel like the closing party of the end of the world.’ – Mixmag

It’s been a meteoric rise to fame - Eddie is the young superstar of the dance music scene, having recently been named as one of the ‘New Superstar DJ’s’ by Mixmag and nominated in its ‘Greatest DJ Of All Time’ poll. In the words of Judge Jules‘, Eddie looks in to people’s eyes and he performs. Incredible stage performance, incredible skills, and an almost telepathic ability to read a crowd – Eddie’s got everything.’

To understand how all this has happened so quickly you have to see Eddie in a club. Behind the mixer Eddie as a hive of activity, constantly manipulating the music with lightning cuts, layers of effects and slick scratches. Playing tracks from across a broad musical spectrum – trance, techno, house and electro – he harnesses the energy of every beat, synth, hi-hat, squelch and squeak, using his technical expertise to generate energy and manipulate new sounds.

His peers acknowledge him as one of the leading innovators when it comes to using technology to push boundaries, as Paul Van Dyk pointed out: “Now kids just use them, for example, Eddie Halliwell — what he does with those Pioneer CD players is f*cking nuts! He had no hesitation; he just went for it and has probably got the best out of the machine”. Tiesto has also always shown great support to Eddie and recently labeled Eddie as a ‘Legend,’ in an interview with DJ Magazine!
Eddie reached into millions of UK homes with his own BBC Radio ONE show from 2003 – 2008, along with seven essential mixes. Eddie now broadcasts to millions of worldwide listeners via his new syndicated radio show – FIRE IT UP RADIO. His success has visibly boomed over the years, particularly with Eddie’s own concept ED-IT (Eddie DJing with Integrated New Technology), launched in August 2009, which saw this years Creamfields Festival erupt making him the must-see DJ of the weekend.

2010 also saw Eddie collaborating with the super-brand Cream to release his much-anticipated Ibiza compilation and the launch of his very own iPhone App. Having travelled to every corner of the earth to play his scorching shows, Eddie is ending 2010 with a bang; with Christmas parties across the UK and a final massive blowout on New Years Eve in beautiful San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Jenny Greene

Jenny Greene developed an interest in music from a very young age, and got her first set of decks for Christmas at the age of 12. After a few years of bedroom mixing she finally got a break playing the warm-up slot on Saturday nights in The Palace on Camden St. While still in school and just 16 it provided a golden opportunity to play to a large crowd each week and learn the ropes. This then led to a Friday night residency at Club Zazu before it became Switch.

Since then Jenny has played diverse sets at all major dance venues and events in Ireland such as Temple Theatre, Mono, Redbox, POD, Sosume, Café en Seine, Sin, Traffic, Creamfields, Zanzibar, The Savoy, Planetlove, Godskitchen

At the age of 17 Jenny was approached by The Sunday World to write a Dance Column for their Metro section, which she did for over 2 years.

In 2003 Jenny undertook her biggest challenge to date when she became the World Record Holder for ‘The Longest DJ Set’ beating the original record by 1 hour and playing for 75 hours continually. The event was held at Break for the Border in Dublin.

Jenny’s music style has continually changed over the years. In the early days it was very much hard house and trance orientated. Then as the scene changed and she was offered nights in the likes of Sin, Sosume and Zanzibar Jenny’s sets became more deep and funky house. Nowadays her sets are much more electro and tech house but don’t be surprised to hear something a bit harder in between.

In 2007 after 8 years with FM104 Jenny decided it was time for a change and a new challenge. She made the move to RTE 2fm where she secured a Friday night show playing the edgier side of the charts and indie remixes from 7-9.30pm. Then on Saturday nights she started ‘The Electric Disco Show’ from 6-9pm playing dance classics and some tasty new releases.

To date Jenny still hosts her Friday night show on the station and Saturday nights Electric Disco show at the later time of 7pm to 10pm. Following the huge popularity of The Electric Disco Radio show Jenny released "The Electric Disco Album" in November 2009. A brand new Double CD jam packed with Electric Disco favorites. To celebrate the release of the new album, RTE 2fm and Jenny launched "The Electric Disco Album Tour" which has since become Ireland's busiest and most talked about dance music tour, single-handedly selling out nightclubs and theatres across the country positioning Jenny Greene at the forefront of Irish clubbing today.

Jenny Huston

Jenny Huston is one of Ireland’s best known and most credible Indie DJs, with over eight years as the voice of indie music on 2fm. Indeed, Jenny’s is a name synonymous with new music and the best in Indie rock, pop and electro.

Jenny has been twice nominated as Best Irish DJ at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards, presented countless special broadcasts from around the country and interviewed hundreds of internationally known artists. The Sunday Times recently referred to her show as “a comprehensive snapshot of what’s hip and happening in domestic and international alt-rock scenes” (March 2011).

Broadcasting live from all the major festivals (SXSW, Oxegen , Electric Picnic, Heineken Green Energy ) Jenny knows exactly what’s hot and who the crowds want to hear.  Her set is a mix of familiar and breaking tunes from electro pop to classic indie rock anthems, including Nirvana, Vampire Weekend, Friendly Fires, MGMT, Lykke Li and Arctic Monkeys.
In 2010, Jenny co-headlined the Silent Disco at Electric Picnic in a ‘Versus’ set against fellow 2fm DJ Jenny Greene.  Queues formed outside the packed tent on a nightly basis to see the friends ‘battle’ it out, choosing The Strokes or Groove Armada on their headsets.

How it started: Jenny was approached by RTE 2fm after making a name for herself on Dublin pirate radio station Phantom FM.  Prior to that, Jenny worked on UCD’s Belfield FM, Radio Kilkenny and CFUV in Canada.
Jenny started on 2fm in 2003, presenting the Waiting Room nightly from 10:00 – Midnight.  After a couple of years, she moved to early evening slots on the weekend where the legendary rock anthems show, The Annex, started on Saturdays from 6-9:00 pm alongside her usual show of indie rock, pop and electro. While maintaining her passion about music, Jenny also started to develop as a talk radio presenter with The Snug (a magazine style talk show on Sunday evenings) and a weekly slot on the late Gerry Ryan Show. In 2009 Jenny wrote the book ‘In Bloom: Irish Bands Now’, published by Currach Press, with a foreword by Oscar-winning musician Glen Hansard.  ‘In Bloom’ was a critical success, receiving massive support from the media and the music industry.

Jenny is known for championing new bands from their first single and supporting their careers through to headline status (Arctic Monkeys, Bell X1, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol and Interpol to name but a few). Her reputation and relationship with bands, allied to her uncanny ability to blend classic anthems with the newest indie kids on the block, makes her’s the perfect post-show set to keep the crowds happy.

SASH!

Surely, in the pop-universe, anything is possible...but that someone from Viersen near Mönchengladbach starts a world career is a little bit unbelievable but true! That a boy from the Niederrhein produces pop melody`s who are going around the planet through clubs and charts is one of the big success stories of German pop music. After now just fifteen years of big success and 22 million international sold CD`s are all the hits together on one album. SASH! - Best Of. All the songs entered the charts around the World almost everywhere in the top ten positions. SASH! Made a trip into the Business-Class of the charts where normally only Madonna, Ricky Martin or U2 getting the top spots. The first song in 1994 was called CARECA-INDIAN RAVE. The first single IT`S MY LIFE came out in 1995 and became straight a club hit all over Europe. But the big breakthrough came with ENCORE UNE FOIS in 1996. A perfect mix from progressive House, trance beats, and of course Pop sounds. After this one hit came after the other. ECUADOR, STAY, LA PRIMAVERA, MYSTERIOUS TIMES, MOVE MANIA, COLOUR THE WORLD, ADELANTE, JUST AROUND THE HILL and WITH MY OWN EYES, GANBAREH, RUN, I BELIEVE, RAINDROPS MIRROR MIRROR. The SASH! Team worked with a lot of different vocalists like Adrian Rodriguez, Shannon, Tina Cousins, Dr. Alban, Sarah Brightman and Boy George. SASH! Is not only successful in Europe, no, as well in the USA (diverse number one hits in the Hot 100 Billboard Dance Charts) in New Zealand, Russia, Australia, South Africa and Japan. After 15 years of SASH! and selling more then 22 Million CD`s the Best Of Album did reach again Platinum status in United Kingdom. Now in 2011 SASH! did release again a new single named MIRROR MIRROR, and a new album that is called "LIFE IS A BEACH" !!! But like in the tradition with all the big producers is Sascha Lappessen still a person who doesn`t like VIP Partys and all this glamour, now he is enjoying the perfect form of glory . Living in silence, in his new house with swimming pool and sauna,... but not in London, New York or Monte Carlo,..he still lives in Viersen.

DJ Scot Project

DJ Scot Project a.k.a. Frank Zenker is a German trance DJ. He is considered to be one of the founders of hard trance, and producing under aliases such as "Arome" and "TOCS".

He is known for the complicated way he builds up his DJ sets and productions, specifically incorporating long buildups and postponing the moment in which his songs climax, often in separate bursts. His trademark sound is characterized by hard kick drums and sawing bass lines, coupled with, at times, extremely melodic long breakdowns. He started as a DJ in 1986, playing mainly break-dance music. When acid house increased in popularity, he incorporated these sounds into his sets. By mixing the older styles along with new sounds from the acid house scene, he created his own sound and style. After 1990 he was based in Frankfurt.

At first he concentrated mainly on remixes, but later followed his own singles. He enjoyed a large hit with the track "X" in 1995, which appeared on the hard trance and trance label Overdose, where he played an important role in defining that label's unique sound. He became increasingly famous outside Germany after 2000, especially after a record which became well known in the hard trance scene - "thunder in paradise" - a record which typified the evolution of hard trance as a mainstream dance music genre. Along with Russian mafia and DJ Tom-X, Scot Project is among other things considered as the most important representatives of the German hard trance sound. He also produces under the name "Arome" alias, as well as "fish ion" and "Paradise and Scream", and is also famous for a remix of the classic Derb - Derb.

In 2004, one of Scot's largest hits "I (Want Your Love)" became so big that it smashed the number one hit at the time from Eric Prydz's "Call on Me" out of the charts.

He has played in front of crowds of up to 2,000, and has been invited to play in clubs abroad. Music style varies from venue to venue, from gig to gig, but Simon always likes to dish out plenty of "dance classics" that will make you think "oh yeah.. remeber that tune!"
